Museum of Castro de Viladonga
After 20 years, the Castro del Viladonga Museum decides to change its image and count on us to carry out this task.
We started from an essential premise, to make clear the relationship between archaeological and museum complex.
Based on this idea, we chose to establish this relationship in a way as neutral as possible. For this reason we opted to use the Mais Grotesk typeface by Marcos Dopico, a neogrotesque linear based on the Swiss tradition of international style.
From that first idea, we used a line to unite the Museum, represented with an M and a circle represented the Castro.
Based on this resulting form and the typography itself, we apply a system to develop the common thread in the different applications.
The colors emerged from Castro's own color palette, ocher, green, brown and copper.
