Portfolio for Joe Álvez

Based in the Mariña Lucense region for over 20 years, he has participated in various collective and individual photojournalism projects throughout Galicia. His photographs of "A rapa das bestas" and the Prestige oil disaster have been selected for several monographic exhibitions and published in numerous books.

The concept revolves around the camera lens gaze, the movement of the shutter, and the characteristic grain of analogue photography, drawing attention to the core asset of the website — photography itself — through a variable composition system that creates different rhythms across each series.
